Bolt nominated for World Sportsman- of- the- Year award

Beijing Olympic triple gold medallist Usain Bolt has been nominated for another high profile international award.
The 23-year-old Jamaican has been nominated for the World Sportsman-of-the-Year award. Members of the Laureaus World Sports Academy made the announcement today.
Bolt was nominated for becoming the first man to win the 100 and the 200 metre races in world record times at the Olympics.
He was also a member of Jamaica’s 4 by 100-metre relay team which won gold at Beijing, also in record time.
Jamaica’s 4 by 100-metre relay team has been nominated for the World Team-of-the-Year award.
