England selectors have opted to delay naming their squad for the May 6 to 10 first Test against West Indies at Lord’s.
The squad for the first Test was scheduled to be released today but England’s chief selector Geoff Miller said the selectors needed more time to assess players.
Selectors will now announce the Test and One-Day International squad along with the World Twenty/Twenty squad on April 29.
The second Test is scheduled to run from May 14-18 at Chester-le-Street.
