Digicel Premier League Round Up

Reigning champions Portmore United defeated Boys’ Town one-nil last night at Ferdie Neita Park to stretch their lead atop the table in the Digicel Premier League.



Steven Morrison scored the lone goal in the 49th minute to push Portmore United to 66 points, six ahead of second place Harbour View, who snatched a two-all draw against Waterhouse at Waterhouse Mini Stadium.



Following the defeat Boys’ Town have slipped to fourth place with 54 points, while Tivoli defeated Sporting Central Academy two-one at Brancourt in Clarendon to move to third place with 56 points.



In other games, St Georges edged Reno two-one at Lynch Park in Portland, Meadhaven United blanked Rivoli United two-nil at Constant Spring while Arnett Gardens and bottom place Village United played to a goalless draw at Anthony Spaulding Sports Complex.
