Bolt to compete at London Grand Prix
Beijing Olympic triple gold medalist Usain Bolt will compete in the 100-meter race at the London Grand Prix in July as part of his preparations for the World Championships in Berlin.
The Jamaican sprinter, who won gold in the 100, 200 and 4 by 100 relay at last year\'s Beijing Games, will run the shorter distance at the July 24 to 25 meet, just three weeks before the World Championships from August 15 to 23.
Bolt, who is also set to run in Britain next month at a road race in Manchester, ran the 200 at the Crystal Palace track in 19 point seven-six seconds last year just before breaking the world 100 and 200 records in Beijing.
Bolt is hoping to repeat last year\'s success in London. It will be the fifth straight year he has run at the meet, but the first time he has competed in the 100 rather than 200.
