Veteran campaigner Satisfier won the City of Kingston Centenary Cup in a driving finish from 5-to-1 shot Spanish Town at Caymanas Park yesterday.

The 10-year-old bay gelding, running at odds of 5-to-2 with Rayon Wilson, overcame a slow start on a muddy track to win the 1600-metre race for the second consecutive year.

The 2-to-1 favourite Blue Marlin finished third while the highly fancied The Smoker was fourth.

Meanwhile, Medical Account with Dane Nelson won Race Number Four in the CTL Claiming Series over 1500 metres at the attractive odds of 16-to-1.

Nelson had a second winner in 3-to-5 favourite Good Citizen.
