Deccan Chargers with West Indies players Fidel Edwards and Dwayne Smith went down by six wickets to Delhi Daredevils in their Indian Premier League match at Centurion Park in South Africa today.



Deccan batted first and posted 148 for nine with Smith top scoring with 48 off 28 balls.



Needing 149 to win, Tillakaratne Dilshan scored an unbeaten 52 and Dinesh Karthik added 41 to steer Delhi Daredevils to 150 for four off 18 point 4 overs.



Shoaib Ahmed was the most successful bowler for Deccan with two for 20, while Pragyan Ojha and Rudra Singh had a wicket apiece.



Edwards and Smith ended without a wicket. Edwards bowled 3 point 4 overs which cost 44 runs, while Smith only bowled an over which cost eight runs.
