Three hundred people remain in quarantine in a hotel in Hong Kong after a guest contracted the A H1N1 virus.
Officials say they will be quarantined for seven days and treated with the anti-viral medication, Tamiflu.
It’s reported that a 25 year old Mexican man who was staying in the hotel fell ill and was taken to a hospital.
While at hospital tests confirmed that he had the virus.
According to medical officials, this is the first confirmed case of the virus in Hong Kong.
However, the World Health Organisation (WHO) says no case has been confirmed in mainland China.
