Openers Graeme Smith and Naman Ojha scored half-centuries while pace bowler Amit Singh took an impressive three for nine to steer the Rajasthan Royals to a 78-run win over the Kings Eleven Punjab in the Indian Premier League today.



Smith top-scored with 77, hitting 12 boundaries and a six, while Ojha faced 51 balls and struck five boundaries and five sixes for his 68 runs as Rajasthan reached 211 for four.



Punjab managed 133 for eight in reply against the bowling of Amit Singh three for nine and Shane Warne two for 38.



Yuraj Singh top-scored for Punjab with 48.



In the day’s second game Delhi Daredevils, needing 155 to beat Kolkata Knight Riders, were 51 without loss after five overs.



Earlier, Morne van Wyk hit 74 runs to lead the Kolkata Knight Riders to 154 for three off their allotted 20 overs.



South Africa\'s Van Wyk smashed 11 boundaries, putting on 58 runs for the first wicket with captain Brendon McCullum, who made 35 runs from 29 balls.



Delhi\'s medium pacer Pradeep Sangwan took two for 29 from his four overs while opening bowler Ashish Nehra varied his pace to end up with an economical one from 23 from four overs.
