The Central American and Caribbean Confederation Swimming Championship set for June 29 to July 5 has been shifted from Mexico City because of the outbreak of the Influenza ‘A’ H1N1 infection also known as Swine Flu.

The Championships will now take place in Venezuela.

Twenty-four countries, including Jamaica, are expected to participate in the Championship.

Mexico\'s health secretary says tests have confirmed two more deaths from swine flu, bringing the total to 44.
