The Leader of the Opposition in St Lucia, Dr. Kenny Anthony, has asked Eastern Caribbean governments to be open about their involvement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
According to the IMF, St Vincent, St Lucia and Dominica has requested funding under facilities that are less onerous than under traditional routes.
Dr Anthony says he wants to know the loan conditions.
He says the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS), which shares a common currency, had taken a political decision to approach the IMF jointly.
