Turks new land sale rules published

The authorities in the Turks and Caicos Islands have published updated rules under which crown lands can be bought.



The British government recently set up a commission of inquiry into the governance of the territory following allegations that ministers had personally profited from the sale of state owned property.



The final report of the commission is due at the end of the month but a preliminary report said it found clear signs of corruption.
