Two US journalists arrested by North Korea near its border with China are to face trial on June 4.

North Korea\'s state-run KCNA news agency reports that Euna Lee, a Korean-American, and Laura Ling, a Chinese-American, who work for a San Francisco TV station, were detained on March 17.

There is no word on the charges.

North Korea has said the two crossed the border from China illegally.

Some reports have suggested that they were arrested while on Chinese soil.

The two were working on a story about refugees fleeing the communist North at the time of their arrest.
