Portmore, Tivoli draw
The race for the Digicel National Premier League title has gone down to the final round after defending champions and leaders Portmore United and second place Tivoli Gardens battled to a goalless draw last night at Ferdie Neita Park.
Both teams ended with 10 players after Navion Boyd of Tivoli Gardens and Ricardo Cousins of Portmore United were ejected.
The result means that Portmore United remain two points ahead of Tivoli Gardens going into the final round of matches on Sunday.
Harbour View are still in with a chance of winning the Premiership title after recording a 2-1 victory over Boys’ Town at the Harbour View Stadium in another late game.
Harbour View are one point behind Tivoli Gardens and three points off Portmore United.
Over at Drewslands Stadium, fifth place Arnett Gardens defeated sixth place Waterhouse 2-1.
In the relegation zone, Reno were relegated from the Premiership after going down 1-0 to second-from-the bottom Village United at Elliston Wakeland Centre in Trelawny.
Village United, Meadhaven and Sporting Central Academy are still in the fight for survival although recording victories.
Meadhaven edged Rivoli United 4-3 at Spanish Town Prison Oval, while Sporting Central defeated St Georges 2-0 at Brancourt in Clarendon.
