Jamaican earns pick on Team of Week

Jamaican Gary Brooks earned a pick on the Team of the Week in the United Soccer Leagues Second Division after a good performance for Real Maryland Monarchs on Saturday.



Brooks assisted on Real Maryland’s first goal and scored the last goal as they ran past visiting Western Mass Pioneers 3-0 at Richard Montgomery High School.



Brooks set up Jim Stevens to score in the 52nd minute.



Yendry Diaz made it 2-0 with a header in the 61st minute and Brooks netted his third goal of the season in the 84th minute to seal a dominant win by the home side.
