Gayle, Chanderpaul swap places
West Indies captain Chris Gayle and Shivnarine Chanderpaul have swapped places in the Reliance Mobile International Cricket Council Player Rankings for One Day International batsmen.
Gayle, who went into the England series in second spot, has dropped one place to third while his teammate Chanderpaul has moved to second after a series contribution of 95 runs.
West Indies next best-placed player is Ramnaresh Sarwan who has slipped three places to 19th spot.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni of India has retained his number one spot.
In the bowling section, pacers Jerome Taylor and Daren Powell are the best-placed West Indies bowlers.
Taylor, who was the most successful West Indies bowler in the England series, has retained his 14th position, while Powell is ranked at 20.
The bowling table is headed by Sri Lanka’s Nuwan Kulasekara while Kyle Mills of New Zealand is second and Muttiah Muralitharan of Sri Lanka third.
