JCA launched Twenty/Twenty

The Jamaica Cricket Association (JCA) last night launched a Twenty/Twenty Championship, which will be sponsored by Red Stripe.
The launch took place at Sabina Park.
The sponsorship firm has entered into a three-year contract with the JCA worth 30 million dollars.
Twenty-four teams will compete over four weekends at four venues for a first prize of $1.4 million.
The opening round is scheduled for August 22.
All teams involved in the SuperCricket League and the Senior Cup in addition to two invitees will take place.
