Melbourne take Super Cup lead

Melbourne Kangaroos secured an outright victory over Trelawny Buccaneers yesterday in a rescheduled game at the Trelawny Multi-Purpose Stadium to move top of the Jamaica Super Cricket League.



The Kangaroos won the two-day fixture by 122 runs.



Final scores: Melbourne Kangaroos 140 and 173, Trelawny Buccaneers 61 and 130.



Yanique Elliott ended with match figures of eight for 50 and Nikita Miller had match haul of seven for 55.



Following the victory, Melbourne Kangaroos have moved to 18 points, one ahead of Manchester Lions. Kingston Tigers are in third place on 14 points.
