JDF remain on top

Defending champions Jamaica Defence Force (JDF) maintain their unbeaten run in the Jamaica Hockey Federation’s Premier League after a 3-1 victory over Raiders United yesterday.
The game was played at the Mona Hockey Field.
The army men have now moved to nine points, four ahead of second place Circus Circle. Raiders United hold down fourth place on two points.
In the women’s Division One, St Andrew hammered Sharpe’s Rebel 5-nil to maintain second place.
And Strikers defeated Excelsior Eagles 3-nil to move to second place in the Women’s Division Two with 12 points, three behind leaders Spiritz.
The competition continues this weekend.
