Ardenne take early lead

Ardenne High have surged into an early lead on today’s first day of the third staging of the Bigga/Jamaica Independent Schools Association Inter-Prep Schools track and field championship at the National Stadium.



After two boys’ final, Ardenne are ahead with 21-and-a-half points while Hydel hold down second place on 11 points.



Defending champions Vaz Prep are in third place on 9-and-a-half points, followed by Mona on nine and Our Lady of the Angel and Mavisville Prep on eight each.



Ardenne accounted for both finals completed so far.



John-Christoff Pringle took the boys class 2 High Jump with a leap of 1 point 4-1 metre; while Chevon Ramsay won boys class one high jump.
