Dominica has recorded its first two cases of swine flu.
Health officials in Roseau say two men have been diagnosed with the disease, and that both are currently quarantined at home.
The men are said to have developed flu-like symptoms after recently arriving from the United States.
Health Minister John Fabien says his ministry is keeping a close watch on the situation.
Trinidad and Tobago also recorded a second case of the virus on the weekend.
Meanwhile, Cuban authorities yesterday confirmed the island’s fifth swine flu case in a 62 year old Canadian tourist.
The Caribbean’s first death from the illness occurred in the Dominican Republic, which has 44 confirmed cases of the virus.
