Commonwealth Games 2018 | Wynter advances in singles badminton

Jamaica's Katherine Wynter defeated England's Chloe Le Tissier 2-0 in women's singles badminton action at the 2018 Commonwealth Games inside the Carrara Sports Arena on Australia's Gold Coast. 

Wynter took the sets 21-18, 21-16 in their 21 minute Round of 64 match. 

In lawn bowls, Andrew Newell had a 21-16 win over England's Robert Paxton in men's singles sectional play at the Broadbeach.
