Two men charged with Kingston bearer's murder
Two Kingston men have been charged with murder and accessory after the fact following the discovery of a bearer's body in a pit in the Burgher Avenue area of Kingston last month.
The men are 21-year-old Orlando Hamilton, otherwise called 'Babba', and Norman Dickens, otherwise called 'Bob', both of Burgher Avenue addresses.
The police believe 39-year-old Andre Allen, of Burgher Avenue, was killed in his community between May 18 and May 22.
The police allege that Hamilton stumbled upon Allen's lifeless body in a yard with five men standing over him.
Later in the morning both Hamilton and Dickens were seen mixing cement and covering the pit in which Allen was later found.
Following an investigation, both men were taken into custody and charged based on eyewitness statements.
