St Ann farmer accused of fatally stabbing man during argument
The St Ann police have charged 37-year-old Leroy Burrell, otherwise called ‘Fry Fry’, a farmer of Top Higgin Town in the parish, with the murder of a man in St Ann’s Bay on Thursday.
The deceased is 41-year-old Kenyatta Davis, otherwise called ‘Frass Man’, of Content district, St Ann’s Bay.
The police say about 2:00 a.m., Burrell and Davis were involved in an argument which resulted in a fight. During the fracas, Burrell allegedly used a knife to inflict stab wounds to Davis.
The police were alerted and upon their arrival, Davis was seen lying face down on the ground in a pool of blood.
The scene was processed and the body was removed to the morgue.
An investigation was launched and Burrell was arrested. He was charged on Saturday after he was interviewed in the presence of his attorney.
The police say his court date has not been finalised.
