Three persons died in a motor vehicle collision on the Melrose Bypass in Manchester on Thursday.
Dead are 25-year-old Osheen Wint, seven-year-old Daniella Wint, and 25-year-old Rojae Samuels, all of Stony Hill in St Andrew.
Reports are that about 7:30 p.m., the three were travelling westerly in a Toyota Mark X motor car when the driver lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a truck that was travelling in the opposite direction.
They were taken to hospital where they were pronounced dead.
A curfew has been imposed in Trench Town and Admiral Town in Kingston.
The curfew began at 6 p.m. on Friday and will continue until 6 p.m., Sunday, March 10.
The boundaries of the curfew are as follows:
NORTH: Along Gem Road from Maxfield Avenue to Greenwich Street;
EAST: Along Greenwich Street from Gem Road on to Eight Street, continuing along Harris Street and Raphael Avenue;
SOUTH: Along Eight Street, Harris Street and Raphael Avenue from Greenwich Street to Maxfield Avenue;
WEST: Along Maxfield Avenue from the southern boundary to Gem Road.
