A beautiful gesture by Glenmuir High students

THE EDITOR, Madam:
After a trying weekwith not-so-good news, I awoke to a viral video that took my breath away.
Tanya Murray, chemistry teacher at Glenmuir High School, was beautifully serenaded by her students, espousing how amazing she is. One could feel the love, respect and adoration emanating from the heavenly blended voices.
In reading messages from past and present students, you got a glimpse into the life mission of their much-loved chemistry teacher. Bravo, Ms Murray, you have touched and influenced many lives for good.
This represents the best of the Jamaican education landscape, at a time when school systems are under immense pressure. All is not lost; there is hope.
May our teachers continue to give of their best, and students endeavour to learn.
