Don’t forget the teachers

THE EDITOR, Madam:

As students receive their CSEC and CAPE examination results, they rightfully deserve praise for their hard work. But it is essential not to overlook the teachers who played a pivotal role in their success. They worked tirelessly to ensure that the syllabus is completed, often under challenging circumstances and with limited resources. Many sacrificed personal and family time, by staying late, and going above and beyond.

Many teachers didn’t expect anything in return, they are driven solely by their commitment to their students’ success. As students and parents celebrate these achievements, let us not forget to express our gratitude to the teachers.
