The Federal Republic of Nigeria celebrated its 63rd anniversary of independence on Saturday at Millsborough Close in St Andrew. It was truly an international affair as several members of the diplomatic corps, local and overseas dignitaries, and Senator Kamina Johnson Smith, Jamaica’s minister of foreign affairs and foreign trade, were present to help the Nigerians celebrate. Something Extra was also present.
