Currency rates update: $116.03 to US$1

The average selling rate of the Jamaican dollar crossed the $116 mark in trading yesterday for the first time.
The local currency is now trading at an average of $116.03 to the United States dollar.
The highest selling rate was $121.44 and the lowest $94.77, according to the Bank of Jamaica foreign exchange trading summary.
The average selling rate of the Canadian dollar yesterday was $97.28 and the British Pound Sterling $181.88.
