Man shot while leaving Kingston Public Hospital

A man was shot and injured as he left the Kingston Public Hospital this afternoon.
The Corporate Communication Unit of the police force says the shooting took place between 2p.m and 3 p.m.
A policeman attached to the west Kingston police says the alleged gunman ran in the direction of a church near the hospital.
A significant number of cops are now at the scene conducting searches.
