Wisynco recently donated 50 cases of water to the disaster preparedness and patient hydration programmes at The Princess Margaret Hospital in St Thomas.

"This donation comes at a very good time as we are in a long drought period and one of the challenges is keeping patients hydrated," said Dr Cecil Batchelor, Senior Medical Office for the hospital. "It is very important for us to be able to provide the water for those who can take oral fluids." Dr Batchelor said many cases of the water received will be reserved as part of the hospital's disaster preparedness reserves until the end of the current hurricane season.

"We are a water company and are pleased to be able to give back to the communities we serve with this donation," said Charmaine Abrahams, regional manager for Wisynco.
