The Meteorological Service says the Flash Flood warning issued for low-lying and flood prone areas of eastern parishes remain in place until 5 o’clock this afternoon.
This as the Met Service reports that sections of Portland and St Mary are still experiencing light to moderate showers.
A flash flood warning means that flooding has been reported or expected to occur shortly.
The Met Service says a trough is currently across the island and is expected to continue influencing weather conditions today.
