NCB Supporting Worthy Causes
NCB Foundation executives recently visited the Ministry of Education to hold discussions with Minister Ruel Reid regarding the significant contributions of the foundation to the education sector.
And, some 28 business professionals, drawn mainly from the manufacturing and services sectors, benefited from the recent series of training workshops hosted by National Commercial Bank Jamaica Limited (NCB) in conjunction with the Human Employment And Resource Training Trust/National Training Agency (HEART Trust/NTA).
The participants were either nominated by NCB business bankers drawn from applications submitted to the 2015 NCB-led National Builders Award.
Topics covered included marketing and preparation and analysis of financial statements, and the attendees got exposure to practical strategies that would facilitate greater customer retention and an overall boost to business opportunities. The participants say they feel better prepared to take their businesses to a level of economic security and can now face the challenges that are ahead.
The bank also made a significant contribution to the national Under-20 football team.
