Nine students stabbed to death in China

Nine students were stabbed to death and 10 others injured in a knife attack outside a school in northern China today.

Officials say a man suspected of carrying out the attack has been taken into custody.

He has only been identified Zhao, 28, who is believed to be a former student of the same school where the attack took place.

It's believed that he was taking revenge for having been bullied at the school.

According to reports, the killings took place near Mizhi County Number Three Secondary School in Shaanxi Province as students were heading home.

The names of the victims have not been released, but authorities say they include seven girls and two boys believed to be between 13 and 14 years old.
