Man charged for murder of paralegal Sandra Risden
A St Andrew mechanic has been charged by the police for the shooting death of paralegal Sandra Risden on Washington Boulevard.
Thirty-year-old Ojo Russell, otherwise called 'Jerry Stunts', has been charged with murder, assault at common law, possession of a prohibited weapon and unauthorized possession of ammunition.
He is scheduled to appear before the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court on Tuesday, February 13.
Risden, 63, was gunned down in her car while making her way to work on the morning of Thursday, January 18.
Reports from the Constant Spring police are that about 7:05 a.m., Risden was driving along the roadway when Russell and another man drove up on a motorcycle and opened gunfire, killing her.
An off-duty officer pursued the hitmen and Russell pointed a firearm at him before escaping in the area, according to the police.
Russell was later arrested.
He was subsequently charged after he was pointed out as the man who shot the woman.
