‘Twas a big 10 for Christmas in July 2024
SINCE 2014, the Christmas in July tradeshow has been giving small-business entrepreneurs the opportunities to showcase, market, and sell gift items that are produced locally.
An initiative of the Tourism Linkages Network of the Tourism Enhancement Fund, it aims to exhibit locally produced corporate gifts and souvenir items to representatives from the tourism sector, corporate Jamaica, government entities, embassies, missions, and international organisations.
This year’s iteration, accommodated inside the spacious National Arena, was held on Thursday, July 1 and Friday, July 2. It was the big 10 anniversary, and it seemed like everything was emblematic of this special milestone.
It was an impressive display of the entrepreneurial zeal and creativity of the Jamaica people. A variety of products, in the areas of skin and haircare, clothing, general art and craft, photography, processed food, aromatherapy, books, desktop solutions, and home décor and accents were on display for patrons to buy on the spot and make pre-Christmas orders.
