Auto mechanic killed in Buxton Town, St Catherine

An auto mechanic was shot and killed in the quiet farming community of Buxton Town near Bog Walk in St Catherine on Wednesday night.
The victim has been identified as 48-year-old Aston Pinnock of Buxton Town.
About 11:30 p.m., explosions were heard and Pinnock was later found with what appeared to be gunshot wounds to the upper body.
He was pronounced dead at the Linstead Hospital.
The Bog Walk Criminal Investigation Branch is probing the matter.
