Prosecutors charged, too, that during a secondary operation on January 8 when the property manager Allan Patrick Constable, 63, was apprehended, a barrel containing what investigators believe is ganja was found at another property he either owned or controlled.
The allegations were outlined when Constable appeared before the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court on Tuesday.
However, his attorneys Odane Marston and Rodain Richardson indicated that he had no knowledge of the drugs at either property as he was merely the property manager.
Marston indicated, also, that prosecutors have not ascribed ownership of the properties to his client.
The presiding judge requested an antecedent report for Constable before considering an application for bail.
He remains in custody and is scheduled to return to court on April 24.
The police report that a team intercepted a Toyota bus at the entrance to the Charlton Court apartment complex on January 8.
A search of the vehicle and an apartment inside the complex revealed 122 parcels of cocaine weighing approximately 295 pounds valued at US$500,000.
Constable is facing charges of possession of cocaine, dealing in cocaine, trafficking cocaine and conspiracy to traffic cocaine as well as possession of criminal property.
