Kingston man charged with housebreaking and larceny
The Clarendon police have charged 36-year-old John Edwards of Quarry Path, Kingston 11, with housebreaking and larceny committed in Clarendon on January 24.
The May Pen police say about 1:30 p.m., a woman locked her house in Toby Heights, Clarendon, and left.
Upon her return, she realised that the house was broken into.
She then made checks and discovered that several items such as a television set, other electronic devices, personal items and cash were missing.
A report was made to the police and an investigation was carried out.
During the investigation, Edwards was arrested.
He was charged on Saturday after he was interviewed by the police.
The police say his court date has not yet been finalised.
