Teen girl fatally stabbed by man said to be of unsound man in St Thomas

The police in St Thomas are probing the stabbing death of a 14-year-old girl in Prospect this morning.
It is reported that the minor, who was visiting her father, who is a policeman, from overseas, was in her yard when she was attacked and stabbed by a man said to be of unsound mind.
A police team that responded to the incident reportedly shot the man.
The police's Constabulary Communications Network confirmed that an incident involving a 14-year-old girl happened in St Thomas today and said more details will be provided later.
