Frazsiers Whip into JWPL final
Defending champion Frazsiers Whip are one step closer to a successful title defence as they booked their spot in the Jamaica Women’s Premier League (JWPL) final with a 7-1 aggregate win over Los Perfectos in their semifinal clash.
Frazsiers Whip clipped Los Perfectos 2-1 in tonight’s second leg at the Constant Spring Sports Complex, to add to their 5-0 win last weekend.
Destiny Powell (27th minute) and Davia Richards (76th) added their names to the score sheet for Frazsiers Whip.
Venicia Reid’s (90th+5) goal from the penalty spot proved a consolation effort for Los Perfectos.
The result sees the defending champion enter the final with an unbeaten record this season, where they will face off against Cavalier.
Cavalier defeated Arnett Gardens 4-0 on aggregate in their semifinals earlier today.
