Jamaica’s Mica Moore improved on her earlier showing to finish 14th out of 25 competitors in the women’s bobsleigh monobob at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Italy.

Moore delivered her fastest of four runs in the final heat (59.92) on Monday, completing the four-heat competition with a combined time of 4:01.31, just 3.38 seconds off the lead. She started the day in 15th position.

The event was won by United States’ Elana Meyers Taylor, with a total time of 3:57.93. Germany’s Laura Nolte, who led in the first three heats, took silver, four-hundredths of a second behind, while the USA’s Kaillie Humphries secured bronze with a 3:58.05 finish.

The bobsleigh monobob event consists of a single female athlete. The athlete pushes the sledge before jumping in and aims to complete in the fastest time.
