Man sought after allegedly firing at policewoman spouse in St Elizabeth

The Santa Cruz police in St Elizabeth are searching for a man who allegedly opened gunfire at his spouse, a member of the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF), on Saturday night.
The female constable was reportedly not physically injured in the incident.
Reports are that about 8:40 p.m., the officer was at her home in Nain when the man allegedly retrieved her licensed firearm from a handbag and discharged it in her direction.
The weapon was later recovered.
The man fled the scene and is currently being sought by the police.
