On Saturday, March 30, patrons came out in their numbers to experience a night of high energy and exhilaration at Sunnation’s Sunset Cocoa J’Ouvert. Popular soca hits echoed throughout the fields of Hope Gardens as revellers were covered in cocoa and various colours of paint. The Heineken-sponsored event eventually led into a road march, giving patrons a taste of what is to come on April 28. As the march came to an end, the crowd gathered around for a special performance by Trinidadian soca artiste Shal Marshall. Here are the social highlights.
