#glnrCHAMPS: STETHS star Junelle Bromfield claims triple gold

STETHS star Junelle Bromfield, won her third gold medal at the ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys and Girls Athletics Championships after a big win in the Class 1 girls 800m at the National Stadium.

Broomfield, who won the 1500m gold in a close finish on Friday in a time of 4:40.77, returned to secure a tough 400m/800m double today.

The first year Class 1 athlete first won the quarter-mile event in 51.74 before coming back a couple hours later to claim the 800m title in 2:09.70, in a commanding display.

She is also expected to line up in the girls 4x400m Open event.
