#WorldU20 | Levell, Cranston miss Men's 100m final

Jamaica will have no representation in the Men's 100m final at the World Athletics U20 Championships in Nairobi, Kenya.

Bryan Levell, a medal hopeful for the country, had a false start in his semi-final heat on Wednesday morning.

It was however won by Oman's Ali Anwar Ali Al Balushi in a National U20 record (NU20R) time of 10.27 seconds. Second went to Italy's Matteo Melluzzo in 10.29s.

Alicke Cranston finished eighth in his heat, clocking 10.94s. It was won by Letsile Tebogo in a Botswana NU20R time of 10.11s, with Poland's Oliwer Wdowik second in a personal best 10.37s.

The final takes place on Thursday at 5:50 p.m. (9:50 a.m. Jamaica time).
