Twenty four hours after capturing the first Class One boys' 100-metre title in Edwin Allen High School's history, Bryan Levell maintained his pursuit of a sprint double, with a comfortable display in the Boys Class One 200 first round at the ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys and Girls' Athletics Championships.

Levell had the fastest time in qualifying, clocking 21.78 seconds to win his first-round heat hoping to continue what has been a great start to his championships.

Adrian Kerr of Kingston College, 21.79, had the second-fastest time and Wolmer's Boys' Ricquan Graham, 21.91, the third, entering tomorrow's half-lap semi-final.

A sprint double is also in reach for Jamaica College's Mark Anthony Miller, as the Class Two 100 champion qualified for the 200 semi-final.

However, it was Steer Town Academy's Omarion Barrett who had the fastest time, qualifying in 22.26. Marcinho Rose of Kingston College qualified the second fastest with 22.61 and Miller of Jamaica College had the third-fastest time with 22.68.
