#Penns2022 | KC lead Jamaicans into Boys 4x400m final
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania:
Kingston College (KC) produced an impressive performance to lead six Jamaican schools into final of the Championship of America 4x400m relay at the Penn Relays here at Franklin Field on Saturday.
KC’s team of Emmanuel Rwotomiya, Amal Glasgow, Gianni Henry and Shaemar Uter (running in this order) clocked 3:11.41 minutes to win their heat comfortably.
Excelsior, who are seeking their first 4x400m title at the Penn Relays, was also impressive in qualifying for the final, winning theirs in 3:12.55.
The other Jamaican schools who are also through to the final are St Jago (3:13.10), Jamaica College (3:15.36), Edwin Allen (3:15.36), and St Elizabeth Technical (3:15.79).
Calabar (3:18.36), who won the event in 2019, and Herbert Morrison (3:18.18) did not advance.
