CG2022 | Anderson moves into 800m final on time
Jamaica’s Navasky Anderson secured a non-automatic qualifying time to progress to the final of the men’s 800 metres final at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England.
Anderson, who competed in heat two, finished third in a time of 1:47:79 minute. The race was won by Australia’s Peter Bol who clocked 1:47:01.
The final which is scheduled for Sunday at 1:35 pm will be contested by England’s pair of Ben Pattinson and Jamie Webb Kenya’s Wycliffe Kinyamal, Ghana’s Alex Amankwa, Australia’s Peter Bol, Anderson, Botwana’s Boitumelo Masilo, and Scotland’s Guy Learmonth.
