Holmwood’s Nafamba wins double at Central Champs

Holmwood Technical High’s Florence Nafamba was the first double winner at the Central Athletics Championships after winning the Open girls’ 3,000 metres on today's second day at GC Foster College of Physical Education.
Nafamba, who won the Open girls’ 2,000 metres steeple chase yesterday, clocked 10:25.85 minutes for the Open girls’ 3,000 metres win, with Kaydeen Johnson of Hydel finishing second in 10:26.10 minutes and Edwin Allen High’s Sanyae Gibson third in 10:42.59 minutes.
