Golding an 'indecisive' MP

The Editor, Sir:

I have no dispute with anyone who considers Prime Minister Bruce Golding as one of the more honest politicians. However, I will not hesitate to characterise his 'leadership' in Tivoli as 'weak'. Western Kingston is not the place for his kind of 'cowardice'.

I have never met Mr Seaga, but I have to admire his style of strong, decisive leadership, compared to the present member of Parliament for Western Kingston, who I would charactise as weak and indecisive.

There comes time when a leader must be 'decisive' in certain undertakings, but Prime Minister Golding did not demonstrate the kind of love, affection and care for his constituency that can be considered firm, kind and compassionate. His cowardice, impulsiveness and high-handed response has left the residents in grief and the business community destabilised.

I am, etc.,
